Photos are working again
Posted by enrico | Under Computers Monday Apr 17, 2006Just to let y’all know that I have enough photos uploaded to re-share with everyone. The “Photos” link at the top is now enabled, but you can just go here, too.
The URL might change (I can’t get the Gallery software to behave to change paths/domains w/o breaking links), but I’d update the links on the page(s) anyway. Benzo.org was and is the original name of the site, so if you see that in the title bar, it’s still me.
Enjoy!
I checked out some of your slideshows -
the one thing I love about the culture of Mexico is that it is so colorful, not just visually but emotionally. Even the language sounds so much more melodious, although the way I speak it some may disagree.
The area I live in has a high hispanic/spanish speaking population and my church could easily pass for one of the beautiful ones in your photos (it is 100 years old).
I was in Mexico in the late ’80s and I loved the markets (definitely a tourist, saw Mazatlan, Puerto Vallarta). I would never haggle over prices because I thought it was insulting to the owner/artist/entrepreneur selling the beautiful items. Most of them hand made! We walked everywhere.
It was fun reading the signs and the bathroom shot was hilarious and immediately recognizable in any language! LOL!
