Agreed and well put! I was hoping for a GB win as everyone back in the states is touting Brady as the best QB of all time. I fail to see this. Maybe I have been away too long. What I have seen is a good offensive line keeping a guy with a strong arm from getting sacked most of the time. If he were chased around the field half as much as Farve has been in his mighty career with the Packers, he might not have all those salacious complements. Admittedly though, Farve did shit the bed and thus threw out my hopes of a GB/NE smackdown. Maybe it is better to retire before 38...sadly. Oh well. Go Eli and what's his name...Plaxico? Sounds like an extrusion company on the border of Texas and Mexico. :)

Deb: Don't get me wrong--the game was exciting (if you consider my progressive rise in BP an objective measurement..heh), as was the SD/NE game, but while Brady played a sloppy game by his standards, the overall performance of NE was still respectable and enough to win the game. The GB performace, by contrast, was so far and away not how they'd been playing for a long time, and as the home team, the healthier team, there really wasn't much excuse. Congrats to the Giants though--they showed once again their determination and focus in the face of being written off by just about everyone. Let's hope that theme continues next Sunday.

Sorry, I can talk football quite a bit. Probably compensation for knowing the season's coming to an end. :(
