You have responsibilities to your wife and daughter. Be realistic, if you brought yourself to a point of near doom with UAG, maybe somethings, other than this or any other medical school, are complete priority in order to be able to realize Maslow´s Hierarchy of Needs…

As you graciously tried to give me “constructive criticism,” [mercifully deleted] I have some for you: mucking with your meds and/or substance abuse is not a wise prelude to sending easily identifiable information via the Internet. I shared your comment with Claudia, and it was she, not I, that encouraged me to remove it for all the lying, backstabbing venom that it was. Rest assured it will be shared with everyone–in time–as a perfect example of the snake pit that we left. Until then, I leave you to your misery as we move on, obstacles and all, to an already better life.

As a current UAG student, reading your story gives me hope…we decide to leave while the school continues to choke on its own pride w/the 5th pathway (oh come on, its gone!). Please continue your posts and adventures dealing with the other foreign schools as well. Suerte!

I’m glad you have decided this is a setback rather than the end of your dream to be a doctor. I always thought you would make a great doctor. If it takes finding the right school to make that happen, so be it.

Ok. I regret asking you why you haven’t posted anything yet. If I was in your shoes, the last thing on my mind would be writing a blog post. I don’t think I would be thinking rationally.
Your closing words sound ominous. I sincerely hope UAG isn’t making it difficult for you by withholding credits (or whatever it is they are called) to prove that you did your three years there.
Wishing your situation would become less murky soon.

Thanks Vijay. No, UAG in the end (at least for this round) did what it said it’d do WRT to credits and debt. I’m just not “welcome” there, as I posted previously. The words you mention are indeed ominous but not for me (really!); rather, for the school itself. You’ll have to read it to believe it (and maybe not even then).
