Celeste: I know it’s not true fraud in the worst use of the term. I changed the title to have “fraud” to reflect this (it’s also the way I Twittered it, so it’s OK ) But I am lumping my problem in with similar fallout from GOP initiatives (currently being litigated) here in Texas, like other states, where a middle initial vs name or initial followed by a period vs no period, things like that–when SSN and other IDs are readily available as 2ndary auth–are lame excuses to purge people from rolls. I perceived the shiftiness of the county person as being genuinely uncomfortable with my and others’ situations, not necessarily of colluding in a larger “conspiracy.”

IMO this is an obstacle more so than voter fraud. The more obstacles we can take down, the better for this country.

This same thing has happened to me and my husband.

I have been writing emails and calling government officials all morning. This MUST be corrected!
